Name: Hannah
Age: 18+
Blog: My Book Journey
Reviews: YA and Fantasy
Bio: Hello all. I'm Hannah, 30 and live in London. I enjoy reading YA, fantasy, and occasionally science fiction. I love books by Neil Gaiman, and my favourite films include The Fifth Element, Zoolander and Practical Magic. I attempt to write, screenplays and fiction, and hope one day I can actually finish a book (or at least a short story)! I work with schools in my day job, but secretly want to act and write professionally. I am unfortunately very bad at languages despite my attempts to learn. But I will try to fumble my way through a few sentences in other languages.
The type of penpal I would like: I'm happy to correspond with bloggers in or outside the UK, and blogging/reviewing a variety of genres. (I have lots of pretty stationery and want to share it with everyone!) Although age 18+ is a preference, again I'm flexible on this.

Name: Jo
Age: 18+
Blog: Once Upon a Bookcase.
Reviews: YA and Fantasy
Bio: Hey everyone, I'm Jo (the one currently running Book Blogger Penpals!), and I'm 25. I live in London, and work as a bookseller. I'm a huge fan of urban fantasy, whether it's adult or YA, but love the majority of YA books too. My favourite novel is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, and I loved the movie, too! I have run blog events that have looked into important teen issues; Sex in Teen Lit Month, Body Image and Self-Perception Month, and Death and Bereavement Week. Away from the blog, I love going to the cinema, the theatre (when I can), the pub, and spending time with my family. Unfortunately, I can only speak English.
The type of penpal I would like: I'm happy to write to bloggers from the UK and outside the UK, reviewing any genres, preferably 18+, but any age is fine.

Name: Emma
Age: 18+
Blog: Read Bake Stitch
Reviews: YA, historical fiction, dystopian, various.
Bio: Hello! I'm Emma, I am 23 years old and currently studying English at university in Aberdeen, Scotland. Having already received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing I decided I want to study something I love. BOOKS! My blog is quite new, but I love the book blogging community and would love to meet even more like minded readers. Other than reading I love to bake and I am currently teaching myself how to crochet.
I work part time at a cupcake stall which is so much fun, though looking at cakes all day is so very tempting. As part of my course I am taking a French class, and having studied it for most of my life, I have a very limited grasp on it. Such a beautiful (but complicated) language.
The type of penpal I would like: Anyone and everyone in and outside of the UK. Would love to converse with a native French speaker, so I can eventually read French books and improve my understanding. Would prefer age 18+ but I am very welcoming to any age.

Name: Faye
Age: 18+
Blog: A Daydreamer's Thoughts
Reviews: Mostly YA, a few AF.
Bio: Hi Guys! I'm 22 years old and live in sunny England, UK. And I inherited the great British sarcasm, if you didn't already guess! I ten to read a lot of YA books which vary in genre from contemporary right through to horror, fantasy, paranormal. My favourite authors include, J. K. Rowling, Malorie Blackman, Cecelia Ahern, Hannah Harrington, Suzanne Collins, and Jodi Picoult. I'm a book fanatic, yes, but I am also addicted to movies as well. I love watching action filled films, rom-coms, and even the good old artsy-foreign film as well! Currently I just finished university in June and have been in a bit of a limbo as I'm not entirely certain where I want my future to go, but while I work it out, I currently work part time in a library and I'm also a part time cleaner. It's nothing amazing but it pays the bills and is giving me time to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life! I am fluent in English and do know a little french but I am definitely far from fluent in the language! I'm quite a lively character, I love to hand-write things and I am always happy to chat to people and get to know them better.
The type of penpal I would like: I am happy to have a penpal from the UK or from somewhere INT. I'm not fussed with location really. It'd be nice to connect with someone who reads similar genres but as I read such a wide variety, that could mean anyone at all! Really, what I'm looking for in a penpal is someone who will write back. Understandably everyone is busy, but even if I have to wait a few months, a reply is always brilliant.

Name: Kay
Age: 18+
Blog: The Page Turner
Reviews: YA, Romance, Fantasy
Bio: Quite new to the blogging world but it's such an excellent way to talk about books and get it all out there. I read really widely, but particularly love YA fiction and dystopian fiction (all dystopian, from 1984 or Divergent) and love a good romance. I live in the UK and I am the daughter of an author so I get lots of good recommendations. Think this blogger pen pals is a great idea though and look forward to chatting to other bloggers!
The type of penpal I would like: Anyone! I'm in my 20s but would like to speak to anyone of any age/nationality/interests!

Age: 18+
Blog: Books that Spark
Reviews: Young Adult
Bio: Hello! I'm 21 years old and live in England, UK. I am currently at university studying English and work part-time as the worlds most clumsiest bar maid! I've been blogging for almost three years now and I tend to read Young Adult books more than anything else. However, I do like to read outside my comfort zone now and again. When I'm not reading or studying/working, I also have a slight addiction for TV series: Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory and One Tree Hill (to name but a few!). I also love to spend time with my family and friends: they mean everything to me! I am a list-fanatic, have a slight obsession with owls and love to hand-write things, so I'd love to get to know some new people and a penpal seems a great way to do so! :) I unfortunately can't speak/write in any language, apart from English.
Type of penpal I would Llike: I'd love to become penpals with anyone from the UK or across the globe. I'd like to connect with someone who reads YA, but I'm not that fussy really. Most of all, I'd like a penpal who will write back. :) Preferably 18+

Name: Franny
Age: 18+
Blog: Mind Reader
Reviews: Urban/Dark Fantasy, Steampunk, Dystopian (occasionally), YA Paranormal, Paranormal Romance, Historical Romance and Dark Erotica. Occasionally I read chick-lit.
Bio: Hi, my name is Franny, I'm 33 and I live in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. I'm Italian, but I moved to London (where I lived for 4 years) in 2008 with my best friend. I started blogging two years ago, and after a long time jobless and trying to decide what to do with my own life, I started my own business, offering boutique services to independent and published authors. I have a long list of movies that I like, but my absolute favourite one is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original one). And thanks to my bff, I recently discovered a love for classics, like White Christmas and Charade. I also love cooking, which is why I spend countless time at my local Lakeland, dreaming about owning all that stuff and I like tea.
The type of penpal I would like: Although I have no problem with bloggers overseas, I'd prefer a UK pen pal, since I'd like to know more British people :).

Name: Hazel
Age: 18+
Blog: YouTuber; Channel
Reviews: YA Contemporary, Paranormal Romance, Erotica
Bio: 22 year old Business Student at University in Glasgow. I like to talk - a lot - so I've always got loads to say on almost any topic. I like to read fairly wide but across all genres the continual theme is romance really - I just can't say no to a literary love interest. I usually spend the Summer in France working but this Summer I'll be in Spain till September. Hopefully Ill have loads of time to read loads of Kindle books to help my 75 book challenge.
The type of penpal I would like: My main goal is to find someone who will write back. I tend to have a bit of time on my hands when Im abroad and since I don't always have the best internet connection it makes a difference to get post.

Name: Georgina
Age: Under 18
Blog: Brain Storm Books
Reviews: YA ( Dystopian, Romance, Paranormal)
Bio: Hi! I'm Georgie, I'm 15 years old and I live in the UK. I'm currently studying GCSEs at High School and in the future I want to go to Sixth Form & Uni to study English Literature. I'm pretty obsessed with books, as I run two book blogs and a book podcast, but I also love to read and write Harry Potter fanfiction.
I have many favourite books, but I usually only read YA (with exceptions being teen-YA and YA-adult crossover). I also love to watch films and especially like the range of book to film adaptations being released at the moment.
I also watch a lot of TV with my younger sister, ranging from sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory, to police shows like Castle, to foreign dramas like The Killing (the original version :D).

The type of penpal I would like: I would like an english-speaking pen pal as, although I'm studying GCSE french, I'm not fluent in any other languages. Ideally I'd like someone of my own age, but if not then I don't really mind. I would also like a pen pal who reads YA as I love to discuss the books that I read and recommend to others.

Name: Sarah
Age: 18+
Blog: Total Teen Fiction
Reviews: YA, particularly dystopia/post-apocalyptic, contemporary and urban fantasy. I'm also branching out into NA and loving it! I read adult contemporary and crime too but don’t blog about those genres (YA is my main passion!)
Bio: I'm Sarah, I'm 22 and from Yorkshire. I love reading YA and some of my favourite books include The Mortal Instruments series, Darkest Powers series, Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy, The Hunger Games trilogy, Feeling Sorry for Celia and other books by Jaclyn Moriarty. I volunteer for several charities right now which is my main focus and I love it! When I'm not reading or volunteering I'm listening to podcasts (or transcribing them!) and watching TV. (I love Corrie, House, Friends and currently Glee, Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time and Nashville). I drink way too much tea. I'm also a huge Harry Potter fan (and Hufflepuff!).
The type of penpal I would like: Any age really but the closer to my age (22) the better. And someone living in the UK. I don’t mind what genre you read and review just as long as you recommend me books! I love writing letters and have penpals already but I’d really love some bookish ones.
